About Me
My name is Apoorva Kaushik and I am looking into Game Design and Art this year. I originally got into 3D art through my high school coursework. When I was selecting my high school courses I did not know what I wanted to do in the future or what classes to take. I selected a lot of technical classes originally since it is one of my interests alongside art. Additionally, I chose digital graphics and animation since the course description sounded interesting. My interest in the topic continued to grow throughout the year and I decided to take the next course at the CATE center and have continued to take animation courses through high school. In addition, to taking courses on 3D graphics I took courses in computer science and game design. These experiences led to my topic choice this year.
Mission
My mission is to fuse animation with computer science by exploring the game design industry through the Independent Study and Mentorship program in order to ultimately achieve my dream of entering the game design industry to make an original product.
